Welcome to GoPaw. By accessing or using the GoPaw application (the "App") and website at gopaw.io (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About GoPaw

GoPaw is a pet-friendly city guide and community platform operated in Hong Kong. The App and Site allow users to discover pet-friendly venues, share reviews, participate in community events, and access pet health tracking tools.

2. Trademarks & Intellectual Property

The name "GoPaw" and the GoPaw logo (including all registered marks: Mark A, Mark B, and Mark C) are registered trademarks in Hong Kong under the following classes:

• Class 9 — Mobile applications, downloadable software, and platform programs
• Class 35 — Online platforms, commercial brokerage, advertising, and pet service platforms
• Class 42 — Software development, technical services, and platform technical support

All content on the App and Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and compilations — is the property of GoPaw or its content suppliers and is protected by Hong Kong and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any GoPaw trademarks, logos, or content without our prior written consent.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GoPaw only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the App or Site for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from our platform

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, photos, posts, comments). By submitting content, you grant GoPaw a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the App and Site for the purpose of operating our services.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines without prior notice.

6. Venue Information

GoPaw provides venue information (addresses, pet policies, opening hours, ratings) for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all venue information is complete, current, or accurate. Please verify directly with venues before visiting.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Maps, Firebase, and others. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. GoPaw is not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

GoPaw is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of our services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App or Site.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoPaw and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or Site. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, revenue, or profits.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoPaw, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to GoPaw at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App and Site ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of GoPaw after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
